News Digest: Special edition on the second tour of Presidential elections

1. There were no major violations of the freedom of speech during the second tour of Presidential elections

During the second tour of Presidential elections on April 21, 2019 professional journalist’s rights were not violated. Experts of the Institute of Mass Information registered only one minor case of violation of freedom of speech

2. In Zaporizhya, police forbade journalists to film inside the voting station and checked documents

In Zaporizhya, police officer was trying to prevent journalists of online media “Depo. Zaporizhya” to shoot inside a voting station. Eventually, police officer was convinced that she violates the law.

Incident took place on a voting station  #230958 in Dniprovskyi dicstrict of Zaporizhya
